I’ve had plants drop all leaves due to stress. As long as the stems are still green, they can bounce back and produce new leaves. It just really stunts the veg process. If it starts browning, those parts will die, but it can still produce new branches and nodes.

  2. It still has a chance forsure give it some light and no water for a bit

Pyrethrin for aphids? Sorry for your loss… it may survive, but … That’s like using a sledge hammer to kill a fly. Avoid chemicals at all cost, absolute last resort if ever! It’s a gimmick!

For aphids, you can just spray em pff with a water hose. That doesn’t work? Switch to pure 100% neem oil with some dawn dish soap, that doesn’t work, go with some spinosad if it’s not blooming.

Water spray from hose to clean the plant is preferable to chemicals.

Did you do it in the shade? Wash it and give it to some Nlnitrigen and time. It should come back.

If its outside i wouldn’t spray it with anything unless you think it will consume the whole plant.

Beneficial bugs should be in the neighbourhood that will slowly take care if the problem over time.

If you spray it with chemicals you not only hurt the pests but also the good bugs. They wont be interested anymore. Furthermore the plant will absorb the chemicals. Your fruits will have chemicals in them. Maybe the plant even dies.

Its in severe shock. Its possible the chemicals got absorbed deep in the stem.

Theres still hope. If those remaining leaves dont fall off. Might be a few days.

I would also cut it back to the second node if it does lose all those remaining leaves. The plant then isn’t spending much energy and can focus on only those two nodes.

Then put it in the shade, not too hot. Like you were to overwinter it. If your lucky it will grow new leaves. But it will take id say at least a month.

At the end of the day its a learning experience and maybe you learned something for next time.

The same thing happened to my healthy plant after an Aphid attack and Dawn shower, I feel your pain.

You never know. Plants are resilient.

I had a Blueberry plant that had some red rusty disease. I treated twice with neem oil but it didnt seem to help. It looked dead.

For some reason, I kept watering it. And one day I look and it had all new leaves. Looks like a totally new plant.

You can do it, little plant, come on.
