Yes, it’s a cheesecake usually made by traditional bakeries. They follow a similar recipe to cubiletes (cheese cupcakes)
Mexican style cheesecake, its more eggy and has flour in the mix and its usually baked at higher temp than regular cheesecake.

I’m glad you are able to find a picture OP, I was really curious what you were talking about. I don’t remember any cheesecake pan dulce personally. But I also normally go for bready stuff.
