Reapers and superhot peppers generally take forever & a half to ripen

But… The plant is full of ripe peppers, they’re just a yellow variety!

Looks like you got a bunch of peppers already

What zone are you growing in? How soon is your predicted frost date?

If the peppers are full size and blushing, you can pick them and ripen indoors, if your night temps are low 40’s and frost is imminent.

There’s peppers ripe all over it though

So confused saying you don’t have any when the plant is absolutely loaded. Looks like a yellow variety.

  7. My Trinidad Scorpion Butch T looks very very similar but only two peppers are getting orange at the moment. The rest is still green and there are all stadiums including a lot of flowers.
Since I live in Germany and temperatures are already about 10°C (50°F) at night I am also worried that the bigger part of the peppers will not ripen anymore :/
I think about cutting all young branches with flowers and pea-sized peppers to give the plant more power for the bigger ones – would that make sense or is it rather counterproductive?

Id say you have plenty! If you study grapes they go through veraison. I’d think you follow a similar principle like with your green one turning to yellow.

If you live in a zone that’s mild enough for it to over winter or survive you’ll have a ton of peppers next year. It probably spent most of its time and energy growing this season and had less time to produce fruits.
I had a Thai chili in my front yard zone 9b for about 4 years and I could get about a gallon of peppers every month after the first year.

Doesn’t look like a reaper from here. Some Moruga Scorpion genetics in there ..along with other things

It’s definitely not a reaper. Those pods are identical to my ghost pepper plant pods, I drink, and I know things. You’re welcome ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
