Parents. It’s an item for kids and since they got rid of the Kid’s Meal this is what the little ones get.
The cheesy roll up should be .89¢ max.
I bought one today for a $1 to wrap around my Taco Pass Supreme DLT. I added creamy jalapeno sauce and was in flavortown.
They are only $1 in my area and I live them. Of course I add extra 3 cheese so I pay a little more.
I do think it’s overpriced and not a great menu item, but at least it’s $1 at my location rather than $1.99. Still would rather have a Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito or Spicy Potato Soft Taco for $1. Or the Chipotle Ranch Grilled Chicken Burrito for $2.
Whoever is running that store is insane
No more egregious than the chips and cheese for $2.29. That probably costs the store even less than the cheesy roll up, at least that has actual cheese on it.
For real. Just get corn tortillas, throw some cheese down and microwave for 30 seconds if you want one

Well it’s actually one of the $1 items. ‘Roll Up, Cheesy Bean/Rice, ‘Potato Soft Taco, and ‘Twists are the remaining four.
It seems like the maximum greed level the franchisees are allowed on them is to double them, and that’s what yours did, at least in the cases of the ‘Roll Up and the Cheesy Bean/Rice. My stores here put the ‘Twists at $1.99 and the other three at $1.89
Don’t sleep on the cheese roll up, when I worked for Taco Bell it was by far my favorite thing to snack on during a shift

When we my ex and I went to Taco Bell, she always insisted on getting two cheesy roll ups with her other items. And it always infuriated me because it’s literally just cheese and a flour tortilla.
