The plant is about a foot and a half tall, white flowers, pretty prolific foliage. The peppers are all about this size and growing either upright or horizontal. They started green and have turned to this shade of yellow. It was sold to me as a datil, but the pepper frankly isn’t that hot. It tastes a bit like a yellow bell and not even as hot as jalapeños I’ve grown in the past. Any ideas?

Looks like a Tabasco to me, and also for how you describe the plant. Once they start blushing, I’d imagine they are going to be a lot hotter than a jalapeño. At least that was my experience.

I’d agree it’s a Tabasco. My Tabasco plant has plenty of peppers just like that
