I used skirt steak, refried beans/rice/elotes and also sauted some lambs quarters with potato. The lambs quarters were bought by mistake, but were delicious with garlic, onion and butter (thanks to everyone who helped me identify what it was!) 🥰

That looks way too organized for street tacos.

Rice and beans? No.
I love all the topping selections! Reminds me of authentic Mexican street taco stands where they have a dozen different things you can top them with! Great job!

Hey looks like a lot of fun!! I love the colors in the spread! What’s in that green salsa you have on those tacos??
10/10 for not doing white people taco night. Orale
Those are just tacos. They weren’t made in the street.
Looks so good. Bonus point if you oil up your tortillas before heating them.
Nope.
I’ll never understand why they’re called street tacos lol
looks amazing. love the organization too!
No.
They’ll taste a lot better if you melt the cheese
Sorry, those are neither Mexican, nor street.
I can guarantee you won’t find tacos like that in any street on any Mexican state, or city. From Tijuana, to Chiapas.
Recipe for the refried beans and rice?
raw jalapeños, radishes and unmelted cheese are the major offenders here. everything else is fine! looks like you have onion and cilantro which are really the only garnish you want in yr “street tacos”. but. if you REALLY want big ass jalapeño slices ok but the vast majority of people will frown on that fyi i would slice the jalapeños vertically and sautee them with onions if you absolutely need jalaps. obviously melt the cheese too and get rid of the radishes. corn is a weird addition too but whatever. also really hoping those tortillas were properly warmed up somehow
Looks great! Good job! I usually stick to traditional toppings but frankly you can top however you like with whatever you like. You go nena!
Looks amazing.
8/10. We don’t put cabbage, radish nor chili slices in tacos, but they look great otherwise. The radish cabbage thing is for tostadas, pozole and deep fried food like flautas.
Please know im not hating
You had a pretty legit taco night, but once you experience real street tacos and corn from a Mexican city you’ll see this is not street 🌮
That looks delicious!! 🤤
Great job!!
Are those El Milagro tortillas?
Sorry about the poor comments here. They look tasty! Frankly tacos are whatever you want them to be. My family usually will just have tortillas on the side of whatever (Mexican) food we’re eating and make tacos out of it, because there really are not hard an fast rules. You’ve got your protein, cheese, and veggies. It’s a taco. Great work and keep at it!
As a Mexican, I give you 4/10.
Esas tortillas duelen!!!!!
melt the cheese!!
I love those green jalapeños! Really adds a kick to the tacos. I like them dry or I also fry them a little and take a bite each time I bite the taco lol my mouth got watery just about now Hahha
>street
>on a plate
Remind me of the rosas café 🌹 tacos 🌮 give You 5/5 effort, 3/5 general, cause street tacos did not have a rice and Beans side, neither cheese.
Pretty white washed street taco.
Tacos with rice, are you Chinese?
0/10, real street tacos in Mexico are made of stray dogs and have you finding God in the toilet afterwards.
Ditch the cheese and jalapeño slices. Roast a serrano on the same comal y’all use for tortillas and bite that as you go. 10/10
Looks so good. My husband has been bugging me to make tacos n I’m lazy. But after seeing yours I think I want to 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I love the idea of jalepenos on them to
looks nice but what is the “Street” part ??
Next time ty to find white corn instread of the yellow one, it tastes SO much better
