From a few of the posts I saw it doesn’t look like some stores are making it correctly cause this is this is how I get it from my store every time. $3.99, added black beans and guac for $0.90 extra. 12/10.

Yours looks good, but a lot of the posts I’ve seen look like half the portion of what you got, so I understand the complaining.
It seems like you do know why. Most stores seem to be messing them up bad. Under portioning, making it a sloppy pile, not grilling the cheese or sometimes missing the shredded cheese or other ingredients entirely. And not all locations have the same $3.99 price point. Hard to want to roll the dice for an item that’s $4-$6 when you could just get an entire box with 3-4 good food items you know you like with a drink for the same price or less.

I bought it last weekend. Mine looked more like yours, except I had steak. It cost $4.99, which included a $1 upcharge for steak.
I heard it’s easy to mess up. The Taco Bell i went to was super slow (took over half an hour to service 6 vehicles) but when I did get it was right!
