Los compadres in Saltillo coahulia had this amazing orange salsa, I thought habanero but next to no spice, really great flavor. I’m a gringo so def no habaneros we’re in it or I’d know 😂 best guess how to make it?
I’d say dry Chile de Arbol de-seeded and de-veined to avoid too much spicy. Along with some oil and maybe some orange chile manzana which is not too spicy.

My first thought was habaneros too. There do exist low spice habaneros cultivars, though they’re pretty damn rare, so I would assume it probably gets that color some other way.
