The inflation of the price of taco bell items is insane. I remember a decade ago being able to scrounge up a bit of pocket change and get a cheap meal. That’s not even possible anymore. When I worked at taco bell in 2017, we heavily relied on the local high schoolers during our lunch rush. When i left in 2021, we saw a decrease in high schooler. Probably because of the price. I live in Canada so it’s obviously going to be more expensive, but this is insane. I’ve attached pictures from the menu back in August of 2017. I especially wanted to compare the price of an old value combo (2 tacos, fries, and a drink). It went from 4.99 in 2017 to 11.51 in 2023.
