So my Buena Mulata plant is doing a great job of producing this year. Maybe too great of a job. I know that this cayenne variety turns orange when it ripens, so none of the fruit pictured is even close to being fully mature.
My question is what’s best practice when it comes to harvesting cayennes early? I know that the heat increases as they mature, but I feel like this plant is overloaded for this early in the season.
Thanks in advance!
