Crazy I literally made this last night and the oil made it too heavy, I had to drink 2 cups of hot tea just to feel like I fully digested it. Gonna try to loosen it with water tonight when I heat up the leftovers
For anyone who finds the oil too heavy, add some vinegar like apple cider vinegar or red wine vinegar! The lime adds great flavor, but it may not balance the oil out enough
Omg thankyou! Like i always found using SO much oil has got to be crazy unhealthy. But then again Americans are always unrealistic. 🤷🏻♂️ Maybe a bit of hot oil and then boiling water would be a good balance?
3 tbsp crushed peanuts ½ cup peanut butter 2 tbsp chili crisp, use more chili flakes + a spoon of the chili solids if oil-free 1 tbsp sesame seeds 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce 3 scallions, sliced 4 cloves garlic, minced ½ cup boiling water 2-3 ramen noodle nests, cooked 1 package puffed tofu, approximately 100g, optional
Just ate peanut butter soup with goat meat and fu fu ( sp?) from African restaurant and I love it and want to learn how to make it. Who says we old English ladies can't learn to cook good stuff? Lol 😅
Gods I wish I liked peanut butter or spicy things, so many quick, easy, and tasty looking recipes have them in as main flavours that you can’t just swap for something else 😭

Sorry, but nooo
This looks so much easier. I thought I was the only one who refused to do the hot oil thing haha
I don’t eat peanut butter, but the noodles look delicious.
Yes, I definitely don't want to deal with the calories that come along with all that oil either! Thanks for trying and sharing your results 🤤🍜
Yessssssss handling super oil is actually so dangerous, I always wondered if there was an alternative!!
Stop making me hungry 😭

Are you using wooden tongs?
I've never heard of puffed tofu. Hmmm.
Is it hard to find?
Trend??? 😂
Mouthwatering ❤❤❤
Thank you! Bought the ingredients last night and I’d much rather not use oil and feel terrible afterwards !
Canadian accent alert!

🤢🤢I can say it's rubbish
That tofu looks amazing
Definitely more manageable. And, the amount of oil appeared it could taste too oily.

I’ve been making peanut noodles on repeat for the past two months. Help please I shouldn’t be allowed to have unlimited access to peanut butter 🫠
Вообще не согласна, именно из-за нашей серьезности и высокой концентрации у нас лучшие спортсмены и многие русские добиваются результатов!
I love that you replaced with the water. I always see the hot oil version but tend to avoid making it. Will make this for sure!!
What are those giant crouton looking things?😂❤
I love me some good food!
That sounds disgusting.
Look up Ground nut soup from Africa. Peanut utter soap omg my favorite food ever.
Which noodles do you use

1 package puffed tofu, approximately 100g, optional
that tofu looks bomb
Compare the taste of garlic when you por hot oil to when you pour hot water on it. Nope, not for me.
The oil adds SO MANY calories, it's a big pass for me. Easily doubles the entire dish 😨
That’s pad thai.
Its not the 🛢️ it's the carbs and sugar that are the problem 🤢
