This pulled pork is one of my go-to smoker recipes. I soak a whole pork butt overnight in Cherry Dr Pepper, season it up with BBQ rub, and smoke it low and slow until it hits that perfect pull-apart texture. Sweet, smoky, juicy, and built for sandwiches, loaded fries, sliders, and more.
The secret is letting the soda work overnight before the smoke even starts. Once it hits 203 degrees and gets a proper rest, this is the kind of pulled pork people talk about all day.
