What you need:
3 bell peppers
1 cup cottage cheese
1 cup cooked sliced steak
½ cup shredded provolone
¼ cup sautéed onions
Optional: mushrooms
Slice peppers in half and remove the seeds. Stir cottage cheese with steak, onions, mushrooms, and a little provolone. Spoon into the pepper boats and top with more cheese.
Bake at 400°F until the peppers soften and the cheese melts over the top.
Pat the peppers dry first so the boats stay loaded instead of watery.
