  1. Make this (this is my recepie I mom made it because I wasn't eating anything when I had a fever)

Boil 2-3 potatoes as u like with salt
    Cut them into square piece
    Add black paper 1tsp
    Add red chilli powder 5tsp
    Add salt 3tsp
    Add pink salt 1tsp
    Mix

I know this looks dry but it tastes amazing when served smoking hot

  2. I’d like to add that MANY places in Texas do add beans, including where I’m from. I love it both ways, but I prefer it with beans.

  3. I get annoyed when other Texans jump on my back for making my tx chili recipe with beans, tomato sauce, & paste. My chili is great imo. I’ve spent years tweaking how I make it, and I like the beans in it. It makes it feel more complete/hardy to me. My fam loves it so that’s good enough for me.

  4. I’m sure it’s been made by indigenous peoples for thousands of years. Take chillies, tomatoes, beans put them together and some meat like bison, venison or turkey or whatever else. Mix together. Maybe add some native onions and squash
