
I get these chillies from my local Asian/world food store, and I've always assumed they're scotch bonnets. But could they be something else? Would be good to know as they'll be in a bottle of hot sauce in a couple of hours. Thanks!

Definitely some sort of chinense cultivar. Even without exact identification I can say they’ll be fiery with more fruity notes than your annum varieties.
