I've been searching the past week about leaves making this cup shape but can't seem to find anything on my end, any tips what this could be? Possibly stressed by outgrowing pot?
Background: SoCal – This is a habanada plant I bought along with two biquinho plants from the local university a few weeks ago. They were bought outside sitting in the sun, just to be safe I've been hardening them off the last two weeks planning to pot in 5 gallons this weekend with drip line. The weather only warmed up this past week.
Only the habanada has been making this shape the past few weeks, the two biquinho's have not. All plants have been growing new leaves and buds too.
In the morning they have been bottom watered every other day while in the high 60s overcast – every day the last few days as the weather is now in the 80s. No fertilizer yet, although I do have 5-5-5 and FoxFarms Cal-Mag ready to use. Aphids just started showing up this week when the weather warmed up and I've been pulling them off.
Thanks in advance for any help!

It’ll be fine. It’s probably in need of being up potted and more water.
Definitely take care of the aphids, use ladybugs and I’ve heard of neem oil
