I've had this for about 1 month now since I purchased it. I'm located in zone 9a/9b. And this thing just refuses to grow. I see plenty of flowers but they tend to either fall off once they bloom or they shrivel up into something really small and then fall off. I'm a little concerned about maybe root rot? It's been fairly damp so I've gone a few days without watering now. The top layer of soil is now fairly dry from the hot heat here in the high desert. But I would say maybe about an inch or too deep it does get somewhat damp. Soil meter is reading at about 3 on all sides after about an inch. And today I noticed the smallest Branch sort of wilting to the side.
I am at my wit's end with this ghost pepper. My tomatoes and other peppers are growing fine and great. But this thing has been a pain in my ass!!!! Help!

I couldn’t say, but I wonder if it has something to do with sharing a pot and being so close to 2 other plants. Maybe it’s getting outcompeted for nutrients?
I’m afraid that, even if it isn’t the case right now, this pot is overcrowded. Having done this before I can attest to how they will grow slowly and less bushy.
I am planting one pepper per 15 gallon pot this year. Though I’ve had moderate success on 10 gallons so far, too.
Was it root bound? I grow 2-5 plants per pot and never have problems with this, but you have to cut the circling roots when reporting. You can see I have 5 plants in this 6″ pot all fruiting. But every time I pot up I cut the circling roots 3or 4 vertical cuts on the perimeter of the root ball before planting
