The mulch was too close but I moved it out of the way and added fish fertilizer 5-1-1. Touching the soil it was moist – may be over watering. Under 40% shade and live in AZ.

Hurting, but still in the fight I’d say.
Next time keep the plants a bit more away from the wall. Those bricks will heat up through the day.
