Last night, I (now realize stupidly) fertilized this plant according to the box's instructions. This morning, it was completely flopped over. Am I correct in assuming I over fertilized it? How should I go about fixing this?
Thanks in advance

Probably not. It probably just needed the support, lol. That stem looks pretty thin.
Looks like it just has a weak stem.
Likely due to wetness of soil, add a thin layer of dry soil to help soak up excess water. Also when feeding for the first time do just a little bit and build up to a full dose.
Peppers donāt need a ton of water until they are a mature. I use a sprayer half the time to help moisten the soil without drenching it every time I water. Also most starting soils have most of the nutrients in it already, I dilute it heavily until it goes into the big pot
