What causes leaves to grow in like this?

I don’t know what’s going on here. The plants look amazing besides the new leaves coming on. They are just so skinny and weird looking. The plants get water every morning and are in fabric pots so they are usually dry enough for some water by the time the next morning rolls around. I haven’t been fertilizing much but I did plant them with some espoma plant tone and bone meal mixed in to the soil around the root ball when I transplanted. Transplant was a couple months ago at this point. They were doing great and loving these bags until now. Also… I don’t see any pests hanging around besides mosquitoes and a jumping spider we named Jeff. Any ideas?
