Need help with my chillis :(

My chillis started to grow these crippled new leaves about 1-2 weeks ago. I don't see any pests on them but I still sprayed them with neem oil. It has been really hot for the past week. Are these plants maybe too young to cope with the heat stress? What else could cause these crippled leaf morphologies? Are they going to survive this? I would be very greatful for some tips on how to treat them! 😄

Some side notes: Location – east of Austria. I started "a bit" late, growing these from seeds in late April. They are outside now for about 4 weeks. I used universal potting soil (COMPO SANA) and mixed in a slow-release fertilizer and roughly 15% perlite. I am watering in the evening or early in the morning whenever the top soil (1-2 cm) is dry.

Mine do that when I give them too much fert. I just give them the usual amount of water and no more fert for a while.
