A couple of my Thais are growing these butts (can't think of a better way to put it). I imagine they're safe to eat, and just some genetic thing, just never seen them do this and I've been growing them for years. I'm more interested in what causes it. Thanks.

This a relatively common mutation on peppers with longer phenotypes. Probably posted here once a month.
