* 1 cup white peas (soaked overnight)
* 2 boiled potatoes (mashed)
* 2 tbsp oil
* 1 tsp cumin seeds
* 1 tbsp crushed garlic & green chili
* 1 onion (chopped)
* 1 tomato (chopped)
* Β½ tsp turmeric powder
* 1 tsp red chili powder
* 1 tsp coriander powder
* Salt to taste
Toppings:
* Chopped onion
* Chopped tomato
* Green chutney
* Tamarind chutney
* Chaat masala
* Roasted cumin powder
* Fresh coriander
* Sev

Soak the white peas overnight. Pressure cook with salt, turmeric, and water for 2 whistles. Heat oil, add cumin and crushed garlic-green chili, then sautΓ© onion and tomato. Add the spices, cooked peas, and mashed potatoes. Cook for 5 minutes. Serve hot with onion, tomato, green chutney, tamarind chutney, chaat masala, roasted cumin powder, fresh coriander, and sev.
