For those who saw my previous post about my crazy looking trinidad perfume and wanted an update! Now that there's some good size fruit going, it seems that 1) it is indeed a trini perfume plant and 2) there's no signs of any viruses on the fruit thus far. So why my plant looks like that is still a mystery 🧐
Doing my best to keep this weirdo thriving til end of season for a final report, but the aforementioned rain kept pouring and unfortunately all of my peppers have now some degree of bacterial leaf spot I'm pretty sure despite pruning pretty high up from the base 🥲 Next year I'll hopefully have actual raised beds instead of bags so catch me going crazy with putting down the mulch…
For now I'll just keep up with fertilising and hope for the best 🙇♀️!
