So I have 52 plants in my beds now, a mix of hellfire weed, ghost and scotch brain. I've noticed the ghosts are getting hit by some sort of leaf-eating bugs as seen in the last few pics. I'm assuming beetles because my yard had grubs…not to brag but I'm a whizz at growing hot peppers, but a complete failure at growing grass or any normie vegetables. But I've had to pull a few of my hellfire weed peppers because they have these scab-like spots. I thought maybe blossom-end rot and started doing weekly Cal-Mag+ feedings in the beds in late June. Newer peppers seem mostly alright but I've still found a few with similar scabbing. Anyone ever dealt with anything similar? Any remedies? I've heard a lot of conflicting opinions about neem oil and have also read it's effective when the the bugs are present. I've checked at various times of day and still haven't seen the culprits in action.
