I'm trying to figure out what this plant is exactly and when the peppers need harvested because they look bug for the plant size and I don't want to wait too long so they get old or break the plant, so please help me identify and let me know when I need to harvest. Thanks

Looks like a banana pepper to me
Banana pepper. Most people harvest them right as they first start to change colors. I don’t think this one is far off.
If you have a bigger pot then transplant. Peppers only get that big with such a small plant if it’s root bound (or stressed in some other way).
