It's curious how my moruga blackjack started producing much more gnarly pods with longer tails after I removed my 55% shade cloth. It's quite interesting because the growing conditions have remained exactly the same; however, the pods that developed after removing the shade cloth are much more contorted, and about 8 out of 10 have tails like the ones in the picture.
The photo of the nearly ripe pods shows the ones that grew under the shade cloth. Those pods weren't even one-third as twisted as the post-shade-cloth pods were when they were at the same stage of development.
