For context, Shin Ramen is my favorite. I drain most of the water out, then only use about half of the seasoning pack because the full thing is just hotter than I enjoy.
What's the best tastiest way to prep this? Is there any way to do it without the full heat, because I know Buldak is brutal. I've never had it before, but it has a rep.

Don’t use all of the sauce packet, and add two slices of American cheese. Stir well
Depends on who you’re talking to. I feel very little spice, if any, when eating this one. Do as the directions say. Cook, drain, add sauce packet. You can add a fried egg, some veggies, or some other protein of your choice, but if you want less spice, put a lesser amount of the sauce packet.
American cheese and mayo are your friends in cooling this down. Maybe fry and egg and throw it in and then chop some green onion. The egg will add more surface area for the sauce so you get less per bite.
Drain water, add 2 cheese slices and a tbsp or 2 of mayo (fresh chopped garlic clove or 2 if you have some) mix it up and then throw your egg and chives into it and mix again if desired.
I’d start with half the packet first and then decide after it’s all mixed if you want more of the spicy sauce.
There’s a version called buldak light which is meant to be 40% less spicy. Not sure if it’s readily available in your region
In a bowl, I mixed an egg yolk, the full packet, kewpie and a splash of soy sauce. Then added some of the noodle water and mixed. Mixed in the noodles and stored in a little mozzarella. Topped with two spicy chicken tenders, a velveeta cheese slice, green onions, sesame seeds and avocado slices and the other packet that comes with it
I second a slice of American cheese and kewpie mayo. Or replace the mayo with some crème fraiche, clotted cream, or table cream. I personally prefer these over mayo but mayo is easier to find.
