INSTANT POT | How to make instant pot easy Egg Biryani

INGREDIENTS FOR EGG BIRYANI :

​

-1 medium size onion (diced)

​

-3-4 chopped green chillies

​

-1tsp of ginger garlic paste

​

-1 medium size tomato(diced)

​

-3 boiled eggs

​

-1 cup of basmati rice(soaked for 20mins)

​

-1/2 tsp of turmeric powder

-1/2 tsp of garam masala

​

-1 tsp of coriander powder

​

-2 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder

​

-2 1/2 tsp of chicken masala

​

-1 black cardamom

​

-1 star anise

​

-3-4 cloves

​

-1 bay leaf

​

-1 cinnamon stick

​

-2-3 tsp of oil

​

-1 Tbsp of ghee

​

-1 tsp of kewra water

​

-1 tsp of salt

​

-3 tsp of fried onions

​

-1 tsp of curd

​

​

STEPS:

​

1.Switch on the instant pot and click on saute mode (normal setting)

​

2.Add oil,chopped onions,chilli and garlic .Saute well for 3-4 mins

​

3.Add tomatoes and saute for 2mins(saute in low setting)

​

4.Add turmeric powder,coriander powder,garam masala,red chilli powder ,chicken masala and salt.Saute well for 1min in low.

​

5.Add boiled eggs and saute well

​

6.Add 1 cup of rice and 2 cups of water

​

7.Close the lid and ensure the knob is on sealing side.

​

8.pressure cook for 5mins and do a natural release

​

9.once the pin goes down ,then open the lid

​

10.garnish with fried onions and kewra water

​
