Athens Restaurant Week is returning this year on July 13 to July 19, where many Athens restaurants and breweries will be offering a variety of special deals as part of the sixth annual Athens Restaurant Week.
The University of Georgia College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences will be sponsoring Athens Restaurant Week again this year. In a social media post, they expressed excitement towards celebrating Georgia agriculture, as well as the people who produce the ingredients to make the food.
This year, more than 70 restaurants, breweries, sweet shops and coffee shops will be participating. According to organizers, this year has the largest selection ever for Athens Restaurant Week.
For the burger-lovers, some options will include Baddie’s Burgers offering a special Backyard burger for the whole month of July, and Farm Burger will have an any two Blackboard Burgers, plus a basket of fries and drinks for $25.
Additionally, Pelican’s Snoballs is doing a buy-one-get-one-free sale.
Cafés such as Jittery Joe’s Coffee will be participating as well, selling a 16 oz iced coffee and a muffin for $6.50.
