Recently discovered this yuzu pepper sauce at my local market and it blew me away. It’s so good! I went through a single bottle within a week so I had to stock up on a few at a time to last me at least a month. The bright citrus flavor of the yuzu paired with chili peppers is magnificent.

what market? look like i would love it
Anytime I see “natural flavor” I go hmmmmm. Then I see xantham gum and that’s the kicker that I don’t want it in my body. But hey, if it tastes good and you don’t care ab those things, enjoy it!
What a yuzu taste like?
So good
On pizza
I made a Japanese-inspired Umami Green sauce similar to this recently. It turned out very well. It’s gluten free and non GMO. It was also the first time I used xanthan gum. It’s probably the best one I’ve made so far and it’s not like any of my other recipes.
I used ginger, white miso, tamari, yuzu and some other stuff
tastes good but not spicy
It’s so, so good. I also buy 4 or 5 at a time.
Where do you get this. I want one!
Trader joes use to carry a yuzu hot sauce that I think about EVERY DAY. I wonder if this tastes similar. Plz let us know what store you buy this at 🙏🏽
OP how hot would you rate it? Like for instance, “jalapeño”, or “scotch bonnet”, or even your Scoville unit estimate?
I guess my question is – is this bad ass Japanese craftsmanship and fineness? Or is this Japanese salesmanship looking to sell and sell and sell? I don’t know. Where can I find it?
