One of favs. Bean, cheese, a great tortilla, onions and some homemade salsa.
Those are the real burritos—with refried beans and your choice of shredded cheese. I remember getting beef-filled burritos in my packed lunch, but I didn’t like them nearly as much as the bean and cheese ones—plus a can of Pepsi and a green chile or a serrano pepper!

A perfect bean and cheese has diced raw onions in it but I put onions in nearly everything.
I love bean and cheese burritos. I usually shred some manchego for the melty cheese and then some panela for the firm pop. Crema and salsa or hot suace and you’re set

This and some scrambled egg or leftover rice was my breakfast for the first 15 years of life. Dinner too sometimes. For some flavor, add grill some slices of pickled Anaheim or Jalapeño until the skin turns a little charred and throw them in there.

In middle school I always went to a Mexican shop on my way home, I am not a picky eater and I love all different Mexican food, but a bean and cheese burrito, sour cream on the side, red salsa and a large coke was always my go to. Its so simple but delicious.
Hell yeah, only thing I’d change is some roasted salsa instead of hot sauce.
