SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — San Diego Restaurant Week is back, and this year more than 120 restaurants across 30 neighborhoods will be offering exclusive menus starting Sunday.
From Italian to Baja-style Mexican to French food, there’s something for every foodie.
Restaurant Week officially kicks off Sunday and runs until Sunday, Sept. 20. The best way to see the list of participating restaurants is to head to the SDRW website and sift through the participating restaurant list.

The restaurants this year stretch as far north as Oceanside and as far south as Downtown.
Aside from the usual dinner and lunch menus, there are also a few participating restaurants that are offering brunch and “drinks as a course” menus.
The two-course lunch and three-course dinner menus start at $30 and go up to about $100.
Restaurant Week allows diners the opportunity to try out different eateries for less than what they might pay if they went in and ordered different plates off the regular menu.
As part of its continued partnership with Specialty Produce, certain restaurants will be highlighting seasonal ingredients, huitlacoche mushrooms and romaine lettuce, in their menus.
The 8-day event is also partnering with Restaurants Care, which is a nonprofit that provides grants and support to California restaurant workers facing hardship. A portion of the fee restaurants pay to participate in Restaurant Week will be donated to the foundation.
San Diego Restaurant Week is held twice a year, usually in the fall and again in spring or winter. The first one was launched in 2004.

Reservations are not required, but are recommended since restaurants tend to fill up quickly.
