Have y’all tried this? Because I feel like nobody knows about it

After my last post and spending some time going through this forum, I’m convinced y’all don’t know about this sauce or really this flavor.

This is WIRI. I love a thick West Indian pepper sauce, and this one is becoming my favorite. The flavor is incredible it’s definitely spicy, but it doesn’t burn so hard that you stop tasting your food.

Wiri Wiri is the only pepper used, so its flavor isn’t mixed with a bunch of other peppers. It also has only five ingredients and no additives. Sometimes it separates a little in the bottle, but give it a quick shake and you’re good.

The bottle is gorgeous and looks like a cologne bottle, so it’s a great conversation starter when you’re hosting. It even comes in a really cool box which I, of course, threw away before thinking to take a picture.

  1. Spice Panther, it’s got real bits of pepper in it so you know it’s hot. 60% of the time, it burns everytime.

I grow weri weri, and it’s the old school genetics from the 80s n 90s. The new ones are bigger and less flavorful, but just as hot or hotter. It feels like Florida is the last place with the old seed stock, all the Guyanese immigrants been protecting their tree for decades and Guyana focused on an exportable version.
