Aug. 24
LARCENY: Larceny was reported in the 600 block of West King Street.
LARCENY: Larceny was reported in the 100 block of Tulip Tree Lane.
LARCENY: Larceny was reported in the 200 block of Howard Street.
ARREST: Johnny L. Meadows, 57, of Wet Monroe, was arrested and charged with trespass of real property. Meadows was issued an Oct. 23 court date and a $1,000 secured bond.
Aug. 25
THEFT: Identity theft was reported in the 200 block of Watauga Village Drive.
Aug. 26
ARREST: Jayson D. Deleon, 20, of Newland, was arrested and charged with shoplifting concealment of goods and misdemeanor larceny. Deleon was issued an Oct. 23 court date and a $1,000 secured bond.
ARREST: Kenneth L. Roe, 60, of Boone, was arrested and charged with possession of stolen goods and property. Roe was issued an Oct. 23 court date.
ARREST: Johnny L. Meadows, 57, was arrested and charged with exploit disable/elder capacity and false pretenses/swindle/confidence game. Meadows was issued an Oct. 23 court date.
ARREST: Robert P. Johnson, 40, of Vilas, was arrested and charged with resisting public officer, simple possess schedule VI controlled substance, defrauding innkeeper, and intoxicated and disruptive. Johnson was issued an Oct. 23 court date.
Aug. 27
PROPERTY DAMAGE: Destruction/damage/vandalism of property was reported in the 1000 block of West King Street.
ARREST: Anette M. Mash, 64, of Boone, was arrested on a warrant service non BPD warrant. Mash was issued a Sept. 30 court date and a $15,000 secured bond.
ARREST: Arturo S. Loera, 59, of Todd, was arrested and charged with driving while license revoked impaired revocation and driving while impaired. Loera was issued an Oct. 23 court date and a $15,000 secured bond.
ARREST: John T. McCracken, 21, of Purcellville, was arrested and charged with driving while impaired. McCracken was issued a Nov. 23 court date and a $1,500 secured bond.
Aug. 29
OTHER: Harassment was reported in the 200 block of Shadowline Drive.
ARREST: Guang Chen, 41, of Boone, was arrested and charged with hit and run misdemeanor fail to stop, resisting arrest/hinder and delay, and driving while impaired. Chen was issued an Oct. 23 court date and a $5,000 secured bond.
Aug. 30
ASSAULT: Assault was reported in the 700 block of Howard Street.
PROPERTY DAMAGE: Damage to person property was reported in the 100 block of Hill Street.
ARREST: Chase L. Grogan, 43, of Zionville, was arrested and charged with poss drug paraphernalia and inhaling fumes for intoxication. Grogan was issued an Oct. 23 court date and a $2,000 secured bond.
