LITTLE ROCK, Ark., Aug. 31, 2026 – During Hunger Action Month, Domino’s franchisee-owned stores throughout Arkansas are uniting to give back to their regional food banks that serve each county throughout the state. Eighty-five Domino’s franchisee-owned stores across the state will donate 15% of the day’s sales from Sept. 15 to their regional Feeding America food bank, while 77 of those stores will also host canned food drives Sept. 15-30.

“Most Domino’s stores in the U.S. are locally owned and operated, and supporting the communities where our neighbors, customers, and store team members live and work is incredibly important to us,” said Art Hurteau, who owns 22 Domino’s stores throughout Arkansas. “Too many families across Arkansas aren’t sure where their next meal will come from, and that’s something no community should accept as normal. As local business owners, we’re proud to support the food banks and pantry partners working every day to help our neighbors. Hunger Action Month gives us an opportunity to come together with our communities support and make a meaningful difference.”

Hunger touches every community, driven by barriers that prevent too many individuals from accessing nutritious food they need to thrive. According to Feeding America’s Map the Meal Gap, 20.7% of Arkansans experience food insecurity, impacting an estimated 639,490 Arkansans. According to the Arkansas Foodbank, nearly one in five residents face uncertainty about where their next meal will come from, while one in four children and one in eight seniors are at risk of hunger.

How to Participate in the Canned Food Drive

Customers can make an even bigger impact by donating nonperishable food items to participating local Domino’s between Sept. 15 and 30. They can participate by simply placing their food donation items in the collection box located at the front of the store. Collected food donations will be distributed to participating regional food banks and local pantry partners.

Customers are encouraged to donate unopened, unexpired, nonperishable food items. For the safety of our food bank partners and pantries, we cannot accept opened or expired products, homemade items or items packaged in glass.
