Recipe (open to criticism)
– 2 large red bell peppers
– 12-14 Roma tomatoes
– 1/2 red onion
– 1/2 white onion
– 2 large poblano peppers
– 4 medium/large jalapeños
– Juice of one lime
– Zest of one lime
– 6 large cloves of garlic
– 1/4 cup minced cilantro
– 1/4 tbsp cumin
– 1 tbsp knorr
– 2 tbsp salt (more to taste)
Directions:
– Char peppers and onions and tomatoes on grill, roast garlic
– Blend (+ lime, salt, knorr, cilantro)
– Eat

I’d eat that. I go through about a quart of salsa a week. 85% of the time I make a quick salsa with no charring using canned tomatoes just because I can make a quart in about 3 minutes and it’s delicious. The other 15% I dig in and make a variety of traditional salsa from scratch using flame charring and a molcajete. This salsa would hundred percent be at home in my fancy salsas rotation.

I would leave out the bell peppers. Other than that it sounds delicious.

Did you do anything with the jalapeños? Or just whole? It looks absolutely orgasmic, truthfully. And how is the spice level? I got several kiddos that can’t stand even black pepper! Fml lol

Not enough garlic.
Because I’d eat that much garlic as soon as it cooled down a bit before starting the sauce.
