Was expecting a little more bite out of this. Been building my tolerance up for a couple weeks now. Where would a good next step be?

They make a reaper salsa too if I recall. It’s pretty good but honestly any of their products are stellar

I got their ghost pepper salsa and it’s not that hot at all, so I chopped up one of my Carolina reapers and mixed it in.

Add Tabasco Scorpion to your cheese sauce of choice. Works great, and you can control the heat level that way!

I love that brand! I can’t find them anywhere anymore like I used too. I have to go to world market for them now.

I’ve had that and it’s absolutely foul with a very vomit-like texture.

I’ve been generally disappointed with anything I’ve had from Mrs. Renfros.

For a spicy salsa Powerful Pepper Company’s 4 Alarm Salsa and A Spicy Gnome’s Dragon’s Fury Salsa are by far the best I’ve had.

That dip was pretty hot last time I tried it, especially for a supermarket brand. Can’t find it everywhere like I used to and it’s way overpriced from what it used to be when I do see it

  7. I really dont understand why people like this lol. I love their Hab and Ghost salsas but that queso was a hard no for me. The actual cheese flavour just wasnt there to the point Id prefer a tostitos one and get the heat elsewhere.

Their ghost salsa is the only grocery store salsa that’s easy to find and has any actual heat, sadly it’s a disgusting texture with way too much corn starch

Add your favorite hot sauce to any generic store bought nacho cheese and it’ll be better.

Add ‘I can’t feel my face’ flat iron pepper flakes

If you want to up your tolerance, there’s nothing better than nibbling on raw peppers. My guess is you’re past jalepenos and Serranos, so try habaneros. I eat a couple of my home grown Habs a day, but am struggling to casually eat ghosts or scorpions. So I reach for my hot sauces that are made with said peppers. It’s surprising how fast the tolerance wears off tbh.

A lot of products labeled ghost pepper are marketed toward the general non chili head populace and are a lot weaker than what you’re probably going for. They just use a bit for flavor and marketing but usually it’s not enough to actually be that spicy

I always feel like a crazy person when anything from this brand gets posted. I’ve tried a few different products and they’re all gross. Everything just feels gelatinous and artificial, both salsas and quesos.

The queso ones are absolutely the worst shit ever, though, at least their salsas actually seem to have SOME real tomatoes. Their queso is faker than even the tostitos queso.

I don’t understand how seemingly everyone thinks this is the best of the common grocery store brands, I’ll eat almost anything but this stuff.

Add some really hot sauce or some ghost/reaper powder.
