Their choice for Maine was a little surprising. For Maine, they chose ICE CREAM!
It was a little surprising because we have so many crave-worthy foods here in Maine. We have places that make amazing pizza, red snapper hot dogs, whoopie pies, blueberry pies, and fried clams. With all those choices, the choice of ice cream seems a little basic.

Pizza tops the list of foods Americans find hardest to resist, followed by salty snacks, chocolate, and ice cream. More than 7 in 10 people have ordered takeout despite having food at home, while more than 1 in 4 have traveled to another city or state to satisfy a craving. Stress and boredom are the biggest craving triggers, and about 1 in 9 Americans say GLP-1 treatments have changed what or how much they crave.
