A popular Sacramento Mexican restaurant is expanding to Folsom.
Cantina Alley, which has served Mexican street food in Sacramento for nine years, announced a second location will open in the Folsom Historic District. It’ll be located at 718 Sutter St., according to the business’s Instagram.
The new restaurant will open this fall, according to the post. Cantina Alley’s parent restaurant is at 2320 Jazz Alley in midtown.
Cantina Alley’s menu dishes out an assortment of Mexican cuisine such as tacos, tortas, sopa and aqua fresca drinks. Cusomer favorites are the elote, potato tacos, fish tacos and al pastor tacos.
The Folsom location will also include Cantina Alley’s popular cocktail menu with drinks like the signature cantina margarita with Blue Agave tequila, lime juice, organic agave nectar, and salted rim. The bar menu also contains a panzona michelada, watermelon margarita and a mangonada slushie with tequila. The restaurant also serves Mexican craft beer.
Since the opening of the midtown eatery, the makers of Cantina Alley have kickstarted multiple businesses in the Sacramento area. Owned by Art Aguilar and Max Archuleta, the two created Abuelas Midtown at 2321 K St. and De Cache at 2321 K St.
“We have been on an upward swing, reinventing our Cantina by focusing on our passions to deliver an authentic Mexican experience and by listening to our customers closely,” Cantina Alley’s owners said online.
