Marie Sharp’s Green Habanero / Nopal
The 2nd Marie S. sauce after Belizean Heat where I noticed a strong sour note from the lime paired with vinegar, here even stonger, but it fits well & paired with the heat I‘m getting pickled Jalapeño vibes with a very subtle dirty habanero undertone. Overall I like it, even more than Belizean Heat & Beware, it‘s like a mix of Tabascos Green & Habanero. Flavor 7.3/10, heat 7/10
Marie Sharp’s Beware
Thicker consistency (50% habanero). I‘m mostly getting a puristic habanero pepper paired with vinegar & I like that the pepper doesn‘t come off as dirty tasting as other puristic habanero sauces. Slightly hotter than Belizean Heat. I still prefer Enconas West Indian Original hot sauce a bit more flavor wise when it comes to these acidic-vinegary hot sauces, it‘s probably my favorite so far. Flavor 7/10, Heat 8/10
Queen Majesty – Scotch Bonnet & Ginger
Very unique ! Zesty ginger dominates, sour & fruity with lemon… Gotta figure out what to put it on due to the strong ginger note, very fresh & asian tasting, almost herbal/medicinal which doesn‘t make it really versatile unless one is very into it. I kinda like it so far though. Flavor 7.5/10, heat 6/10
After this & Red Habanero/Coffee I‘m down to try more from the brand. They seem unique & tasty at the same time which isn‘t easy.
Torchbearer – Garlic Reaper
Garlic & reaper truly dominate just as the title suggests. Very tasty, but also very hot to the point where I wouldn‘t mindlessly put huge amounts on any food on a daily basis. Heat is on a similar scale with Tabascos Scorpion, maybe slightly less. A small amount of this will probably go well on many dishes for me. If they toned down both the garlic & reaper a tiny bit I could maybe see myself using it more often. But still, very good hot sauce, if you want both these ingredients on full display you‘ll probably love it. Maybe I‘ll get more accustomed to it with time. Flavor 7.5/10, heat 8.3/10
Now that all of my first “niche“ orders arrived (see prior posts) I will try them once again & come up with a summary of my favorites in a follow up post. Thanks again for the recommendations.

Just got my first torchbearer garlic reaper the other day. It’s so good but it is HOT, and it lingers too. If you push yourself too far you’ll be in the suffering for awhile. It’s my first reaper level sauce, second hottest I’ve used is probably Tabasco Scorpion and I’m getting used to it now
Beware is so good
You don’t even mention Slap Ya Mama! It’s great, I think that’s the low sodium version, which I prefer (the regular is just too salted). They’ve got a good, flavorful hot sauce, too, and a great seafood boil. I live abroad now and it’s one of the only things I ask people to bring me, lol. Some of those boil bags.
Beware is not worthy of a beware label. Hot, but not stupid hot.
I put the Scotch Bonnet & Ginger on grilled chicken and grilled fish with vegetables and rice. I pretty much keep a bottle all the time, just for that.
The two MS are also perpetually in my fridge.
Garlic Reaper is too hot for me!

Big fan of both of those Marie Sharp’s sauces, though Belizean Heat is probably my favorite from them. The Torchbearer was really nice too. I haven’t tried the other two but I’m definitely curious about them!
I bought a variety pack of those Queen Majesty sauces from an apple orchard in NY. They taste surprisingly good with Dominican food.
