ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — A new court date has been scheduled for 17-year-old Star Grant, who has been accused for killing her mother, adoptive father and her grandmother at their Fairview home.
An administrative hearing was held on Monday, Sept. 28, to determine Grant’s next court appearance, which will be on Nov. 30.

Also accused in the murders is 28-year-old Devan Loving, who made his last court appearance on June 29 for his arraignment.
The triple homicide happened on May 7, according to the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office. According to past News 13 reporting, deputies were called to 18 Ashworth Drive around 7:15 p.m. Thursday, May 7. When they entered the home, they found three people deceased, the sheriff’s office said.

Authorities reported that the three victims were found with gunshot wounds. The victims were identified as 41-year-old Travis Eugene Grant, 42-year-old Kimberly Michelle Grant and 66-year-old Sharon Harwood Grant. Authorities said Travis and Kimberly Grant were married, and that Sharon Grant was Travis’ mother.
Grant’s last court appearance was on July 1, when she was served with indictments. A grand jury indicted Grant and Loving on first-degree murder charges on June 2. These indictments were handed down nearly a month after investigators said the three victims were shot and also stabbed inside their home in Fairview.
