Batch & Box, a bakery specializing in handcrafted cookies and other treats, is working on its third location in San Marcos at 573 Grand Ave Ste. 110.
The company recently submitted documents to the San Diego County Department of Environmental Health and Quality for a Del Mar location at 2646 Del Mar Heights Road. A company representative told What Now that this location will be a ghost kitchen. The representative tells What Now that the company is opening a new location in San Marcos’ Creekside Marketplace later this year, which will be a normal retail shop. The company hopes to open in San Marcos in December 2026.
Batch & Box currently operates locations in Del Mar Highlands Towncenter and Westfield UTC in San Diego. The new shop would become the company’s third location. Both existing locations offer pickup and delivery.
The menu includes signature cookies such as The Classic, The Brown Butter Chocolate Chunk, The Gentleman, The Oaty Chip, The Snickerdoodle, and The Sugar. Other offerings include brownies, blondies, and the Dubai cookie, made with pistachio cream and kataifi. Seasonal treats, including cakelets and rotating cookie flavors, are also available.
Beyond its regular menu, Batch & Box offers catering and corporate gifting for events, client and team gifts, and other occasions. The company also offers nationwide shipping, along with same-day pickup and delivery from its stores. Its website says the treats are handcrafted and baked fresh daily.
The new San Marcos shop will expand Batch & Box’s local presence beyond its existing locations in Del Mar Highlands Towncenter and UTC.
