I've finally begun harvesting matrue pods of my purple super hots, and the colors on these things are UNREAL, if you get a chance grow some of your own, the colors have to be seen in person to truly be appreciated!
They start more or less a solid, sometimes almost black purple, but when they change…it's like it happens from the inside and the skin becomes semi translucent and I swear they change color in the light depending on the angle. The last four pics are of my first harvested Purple Jigsaw Gator. I took the first two with normal lighting, and then the next two in the dark with flash to try and show the effect…it's AWESOME you guys!
They almost do kinda or remind me of gems like Garnet or Ruby

Those are superb … really a joy to look at. They look somewhat similar to the Blood Ghosts I grew this year that have some of the same qualities. I’ve harvested about 1/2 Kg from one plant, but I’m guessing that there is at least another 1 Kg on the plant, to be harvested this week. And you’re right … a photo does not do them justice. You have a great harvest … I gotta look at them again, now!
