Restaurant Week underway in Downtown Elizabethton

Get ready to dig into some local cuisine!

Restaurant Week is underway in Downtown Elizabethton, running Oct. 5-11.

It’s all part of a new statewide initiative from Tennessee Main Street. Downtown Elizabethton is among several downtowns in the region participating.

“It’s a great way to promote dining locally, supporting our downtown businesses, and also just showcasing the incredible food and beverage options we have here in downtown,” said Courtney Bean, director of Main Street Elizabethton.

Nine local businesses are participating, each with a special offering for the week:

J’s Corner — The BellaRella Burger
Covered Bridge Creamery — How Do You Like Them Apples Marshmallow Caramel Apple Dipper
Dino’s — Prime Rib Philly Cheesesteak
Crate & Cream — The Sammie Social
Fire Pizza — Hot Honey Pepperoni
Sweetsie Treatz — Sweetsie Pumpkin Patch Nachos
The Coffee Company — Spud & Co
Riverside Taphouse — Fall Seasonal Draft Flight
Jiggy Ray’s — Pesto Garlic Knots

“I think being able to have a specialty item featured throughout the week really showcases the options these restaurants have,” Bean said. “We really do hope that it brings out new customers and people get to try something different.”

Those who dine at any of the participating restaurants this week are encouraged to share their dishes on social media and tag Downtown Elizabethton in their Restaurant Week posts.
