The Fryeburg Fair is coming up SO soon, and obviously, I’m already thinking about the food.
Gluten-Free Fair Food?!
When you’re gluten-free, a fair isn’t exactly the first place you expect to have a ton of food options. Usually, I go into something like this assuming I’ll have to do a little searching.
But there’s one place I keep hearing about: Tripp’s Farmhouse Cafe.
I actually mentioned Tripp’s in a previous article about some of the most recommended gluten-free restaurants in Maine, but I have never tried their food myself. That might finally be changing.
Tripp’s operates a dedicated gluten-free food truck, and they’re known for bringing the kinds of foods you don’t always get to enjoy when you’re gluten-free. We’re talking chicken fingers, fried Oreos, blueberry donuts and even a gluten-free blooming onion.
And people seem to LOVE them. I even found gluten-free fairgoers specifically talking about looking forward to Tripp’s at Fryeburg Fair every year.
I Know What I’m Doing Friday
Matt and I from Matt and Allyssa in the Morning will be at the Fryeburg Fair on Friday, October 9, and I feel like this is finally my chance.
If I can find Tripp’s, I’m trying it. The real question is… what do I get first?
Because right now, those fried Oreos are sounding pretty convincing.
