Hungry Howie’s opened seven restaurants in the third quarter of 2026. They span South Carolina, Indiana, Michigan, Arizona, and Texas. One of the new locations sits inside Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor.
“These seven openings are proof of something we’re seeing across the system – Hungry Howie’s works for every kind of operator, whether you’re signing your first franchise agreement or you’re an experienced multi-unit owner,” said Steve Clough, Vice President of Franchise Development for Hungry Howie’s, in a news release.
Dani Jajou owns several businesses and works as a personal injury attorney. He opened the Dearborn Heights restaurant, his first in the food business.
Kory Hershock launched the Traverse City store with his father, Kevin Hershock, and partners Jason Freese and Kylee Bird. Kory Hershock runs multiple units across Michigan and Indiana. Kylee Bird, 24, is the youngest Hungry Howie’s franchisee in the market.
The menu has grown, too. The brand added limited-time Flavored Crusts such as Tajín®, Spicy Sesame, Everything Bagel, and Garlic Ranch. Detroit-Style Pizza now has a permanent spot on the menu.
Hungry Howie’s is teaming up with DoorDash to rebuild its website and mobile app. The project brings a new loyalty program and one combined tech system.
The brand has been around for more than 50 years. It is close to 500 stores in 19 states.
