KUTV — The holiday season is all about giving back, and Glover Nursery is inviting the community to help make a difference at its annual food drive benefiting the Utah Food Bank.
Erin Glover, Orders Department Manager at Glover Nursery, says the event brings together fun for the whole family while helping provide food and resources to Utahns in need. Guests can enjoy games, activities for kids and adults, raffles, door prizes and treats. Costumes are also welcome!
This year’s goal is to collect five barrels of food and $5,000 in financial donations. Glover Nursery will match all donation dollars, helping make an even bigger impact. Through the Utah Food Bank’s resources, every dollar donated can provide approximately $6.08 worth of food and services. Reaching the fundraising goal could translate into more than $60,800 in value for the community!
Raffle prizes include a $250 Glover Nursery gift card, free houseplants, plants, car detailing and other fun surprises.
Admission is one non-expired, shelf-stable food item or a $1 donation. The more you give, the more opportunities you’ll have to receive raffle tickets, door prizes and treats.
It’s a fun way to celebrate the season, support local families and make a meaningful difference in the community.
