Serrano salsa verde de molcajete


4 large serranos/ 4 large tomatillos, 2 large cloves garlic/ handful of minced cilantro/ small peace of minced red onion/ salt to taste

Broil serranos, tomatillos and unpealed garlic until slightly charred. In molcajete add a good amount of salt, peel and add roasted garlic; grind into a fine paste. Incorporate serranos and crush, then add tomatillos and crush. You want some texture but not to many large chunks. Dilute the salsa with water until it’s your desired consistency and add minced cilantro and red onion.

    Thank you for no adding 20 garlic cloves 😂 some of this salsas that are made in this sub include more garlic than chiles

    Wish my molcajete was that size. The one I ordered ended up being huge. I have a bad habit of not looking at measurements before ordering.
