I wanna make fish tacos and copy their salsa. I feel like its tomatillo morita but no idea. Any cooler heads who can prevail?

just guessing however it doesn’t look like a dried pepper salsa.

I’m not being an asshole when I say I think it’s Sinaloense or Salsa Sinaloa. I’d never know this if it wasn’t for my local taqueria labeling the salsa on DoorDash.

This one looks particularly delicious and I thiiiink I’ve been there and remember it being particularly tasty. They probably a family recipe, but this salsa is tasty no matter where I get it.

Mexican here. I know it as salsa taquera, which literally means salsa for tacos. I’m not from Sinaloa tho, so it might be called different there.

There are many recipes on the internet for this particular salsa. If you can translate [this video](https://youtu.be/qF6dzlsxRRM), I think you might get something similar like the one in the picture. I hope it helps.

  5. Have you asked them if you can purchase a container of it? My local shop started selling their sauce, and as part of that they had to include ingredients on the label for allergies purposes and such. Based on their label ingredients, I started experimenting with ingredient quantities and was able to get a product that taste the same. One thing that was super hard to find for me, the ingredients called for Jalepenos but I’m fairly certain they only use fresh ripe (red) jalepenos and I have a hell of a time finding them in stores. This was for a Salsa Rojo, and the red ones have more sweetness to their flavor and tend to be a bit spicier.
